I'm glad I finally bought the trunk. It seemed like it was necessary for several years, since my friends and I often go out on impromptu picnics and the like in the forest, to the lake, many have such things and it’s very convenient. But I still felt sorry for the money, so in the end I bought it and chose a mid-priced model. Everything was basically as I had imagined, I had the opportunity to try it out before purchasing from a friend, there were no special surprises. The trunk opens from both the driver's and passenger's sides, which is convenient, since in the parking lot or near the house there is not always a free space to safely load or unload. The presence of a trunk does not particularly affect driving, the exception being the case if the load is full and with something heavy, it is advisable, of course, not to exceed the stated maximum of 70 kg, then I feel that the car changes speed. Bought before a trip to the sea. There were so many things that I didn't even expect. On the way, I did not feel an increase in fuel consumption, driving was unchanged. The Ukrainian analogue of boxing Thule Pacific 780 has a price tag several times lower than the original. Moreover, in terms of build quality and durability of structural elements, the Terra Drive 480 is in no way inferior to a model with a Swedish pedigree.
Large capacity
The bottom of the box is reinforced along the entire length (and it is no less than 196 cm) with three steel pipes, on which up to 70 kg of cargo can be placed. The number "480" in the name of the model indicates its volume in liters. Inside the boot is placed everything you need for outings into nature, fishing or travel. For small cars in the manufacturer's lineup, there are a couple of model variations with more modest dimensions: Terra Drive 440, Terra Drive 420 and Terra Drive 320.
Bilateral access
All joints of the body of the model are sealed, so you should not worry about dirt or moisture getting inside the boot. The lid of the box opens on both the driver's and passenger's sides, which provides easier access to the cargo. And if in the early versions of the Terra Drive 480 a separate key was provided for the lock on each of the sides, then modern modifications are opened from both sides with one key.
Durability
The airbox is mounted on a universal bracket that is compatible with all common types of crossbars. Over time, nothing loosens in its design, which has been proven by many years of experience in operating the box by many motorists. Minor claims are made only for the black modification, since it shows minor scratches and other damage. Against the background of other advantages of the model and, especially, its democratic value, this drawback can be safely neglected.
