Comfortable Accommodation

From the name of the tent by Russian manufacturer STEK, it becomes clear that it has a cube shape. This design provides almost the same ceiling height across the entire surface. And here it is 180 cm: an average height fisherman can stand upright without bending over. The frame with thick (9 mm) fiberglass arches reinforced with carbon should allow avoiding reduced wind resistance due to weak "streamlining".

The internal floor dimensions are 180x180 cm, making the STEK Cube 2 three-layered considered a two-person model. Inside, you can place a couple of lounge chairs, or even two cots. A side pocket is provided for storing small items, and to improve air circulation, the single entrance is complemented by an opening ventilation valve.

Winter Option

The tent is intended for winter fishing. Its tent is made of dense, wear-resistant polyester fabric Oxford 300PU. Its three-layer structure is designed to protect against condensation and improve insulation properties. At the bottom of the tent is a wide fabric skirt (over 30 cm), which will not let snow and wind inside.

To securely fix it on the ice, you will need ice screws (ice pegs), but they are not included in the package and are purchased separately. The same goes for the bottom, but the absence of a bottom in models for ice fishing is not uncommon.

Quick Setup

An important feature of the STEK Cube 2 is the quick setup system. To assemble, you need to unfold the tent and successively pull on five loops, which unfold the 4 sidewalls and ceiling accordingly. Disassembly is performed in the reverse order. Due to this system, the model takes up a lot of space in the included case even when transported in a car trunk (140x50x50 cm).
