Model overview based on user reviews
The Stanley STHR272KS rotary hammer has received mixed reviews from users. While it is noted for being powerful and capable of handling heavy-duty tasks, some users have experienced issues with its functionality. One user mentioned that the chisel rotates during operation, making it difficult to maintain a steady plane while chiseling, and eventually, the chisel gets stuck. Another user pointed out that after drilling, the chuck twists, which complicates the insertion of the drill unless adjusted back to the retaining ring. Despite its power, there are concerns about its reliability and whether it justifies the investment, with some users suggesting alternatives might be more worthwhile.

Got swayed by the brand name. Not worth the money.

the chisel rotates during operation as if drilling, making it impossible to keep it in one plane while chiseling. After a certain period, the chisel gets stuck and stops chiseling.

Not sure if this is a good buy. But as I wrote, over time it will become clear.

Powerful. They can be easily beaten. My Makita hr2450 is weaker and not very good for chiselling. It remains only to check the timing.
After drilling, the cartridge twists a little and if you do not unscrew it back until it stops into the retaining ring, then it is not possible to insert the drill.
just bought Stanley STHR272KS
