Model overview based on user reviews
The Silicon Power Armor A60 is a portable hard drive known for its protected casing, which offers resistance to shocks and potentially moisture, although it's not advisable to submerge it in water. Users appreciate its ease of use and USB input, with some noting the convenience of the cable attaching directly to the casing. The drive offers good speed for basic tasks, with reports of up to 120 MB/s, and is suitable for storing non-critical files. However, there are concerns about the durability of the cable fasteners, which are easy to lose, and the reliability of the casing, as one user experienced a breakdown after three months. Despite these issues, many users find it a good model for everyday use, with a stylish design and sufficient storage options ranging from 500 GB to 5 TB.

the manufacturer has not yet pleased with a single product; previously there were flash drives that did not meet speed requirements, overheated, and failed. ease of use, USB input Died after 3 months of use, horrible body, rubber on the sides and nothing between the plastic and the hard drive itself. I don't know the reason for the breakdown, but it was most likely crushed in a bag with a phone and notebooks. You upload something important, and it immediately crashes. It's better to use internal ones or those with a sturdier body. use Silicon Power Armor A60 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
I've been using it for two months, and very actively at that. There have been no problems during all this time. I hope it will last at least a year. I have the 1 TB model. The main advantage of this disk is its protected casing. I need to carry the drive with me constantly, so I was looking for exactly this kind of model. It seems to be protected not only from shocks but also from moisture ingress. I’m not sure about the latter, it doesn’t seem like it. Although maybe the manufacturer meant splashes, I don’t think you should drop this disk in water. The operating speed is typical for such devices, I haven’t done any special measurements. Reviews say up to 120 MB/s. Again, judging by the reviews, there is a Samsung hard drive inside. I haven’t taken mine apart, so I can't confirm or refute the information. The design is beautiful, although they could have offered several color choices. The build quality is good. The only thing I didn’t like was the USB port cover; it’s kind of crooked. It’s very convenient that the cable attaches directly to the casing. Its length is sufficient for both a laptop and a desktop. Not the most reliable cable clip. It constantly comes off in the pocket. You could even lose it. Everything else is okay. use Silicon Power Armor A60 month or more i recommend it should buy |
Mine is already 5 years old, it serves as storage for things that are no longer needed, and it's a pity to delete them, and I also install some games on it. Overall, I haven't noticed any flaws with it, although it can be picky with the USB port. I played GTA Online on it smoothly, without noticing any lags or slowdowns. It has a convenient cable clip, which I lost a week after purchase. You can easily carry it with you and not worry about its integrity. Case Speed Price Cable fasteners are easy to lose |
