Model overview based on user reviews
The Silicon Power Marvel M02 USB flash drive offers a range of storage capacities from 16GB to 256GB, featuring an aluminum body and a minimalistic design with a red LED indicator. While it is affordable and available from numerous retailers, users have reported mixed performance results. The read speed can reach up to 130 MB/s, but the write speed is significantly lower, often around 10 MB/s, which is more akin to USB 2.0 performance despite being advertised as USB 3.2. Some users have noted issues with the USB connector and cap design, which may require extra effort to use properly. Additionally, there have been difficulties in finding this model on the official Silicon Power website, raising concerns about product support and authenticity. Overall, while the Marvel M02 is a budget-friendly option, potential buyers should be aware of its limitations in write speed and design quirks.
Pros
Cons
The recording of a 3 GB video steadily fluctuates between 6 and 12 MB/s. While its reading speed is a stable 70 MB/s. The test was done in exFAT. The laptop has USB 3.0. But even under such ideal conditions, the flash drive gives the performance of a regular USB 2.0 (for writing). The cap fits only directly in the center, while with most flash drives with caps, you can start putting it on at any angle, and it will still fit the port normally (maybe a defect, but for some reason I have a feeling this is a normal story for this model). But removing it takes effort. This cap definitely won't get lost from the flash drive. And I couldn't find this silicon power model on their official website, which I accessed via the QR code on the back of the packaging. For some reason, it's not there. Aluminium body, no matter what. Red LED. Minimalistic design. Didn't die after The real read/write speed is 70/9. Crooked usb (soundingly defective, but it doesn’t fit into the work, it’s just aesthetic). Kovpachok with jokes. Price. Use crystal disk mark in the test, with the ntfs file system the results are bad ![]() |
