Original Design

The tent from Sea To Summit features an unusual Tension Ridge layout: the dome is raised higher than usual (ceiling height up to 1.1 meters), and the walls have nearly vertical angles, providing more space in the shoulder and leg area. The structure's stability is ensured by a hub system with a central connection, dense aluminum poles ranging from 8.7 to 9.5 mm in thickness, as well as a standard set of guy lines and stakes for secure fixation.

Comfortable, yet Light and Compact

The Sea To Summit Alto TR1 offers a sleeping area width of 60 to 107 cm and a spacious vestibule length of 58 cm. This ensures that the user has enough space, and the gear can be conveniently placed outside the main resting area. Lightweight nylon materials help reduce the overall weight to 940 g without the cover and 1.1 kg with it.

The FairShare system deserves special attention, which includes three stuff sacks that can be used to distribute weight during transport. When packed, they measure only 46x10x10 cm (4.6 liters), and after setting up the tent, they turn into internal pockets and a lantern loop, attaching to specially intended spots.

Great Ventilation

The tent's inner layer is made of mesh material, providing excellent ventilation and allowing you to sleep under the open sky without the outer tent in clear weather. Additional vents at the ceiling assist air circulation and reduce condensation.

The tent's weak points are its high cost and low waterproofing of the tent and floor - only 1200 mm of water column. For protection against heavy rain, it is recommended to use additional cover.
