It's too early to evaluate. a couple of months in the work. but the supply is really rich. all in bags. the turntable is quiet. module .plus version was with tester. Official BP. The equipment is generally royal, bags, boxes, sachets)) To be honest, I did not expect this from a PSU for 120 bucks. The wires are long, those for additional power are also separated (6 + 2 or 8) All in an iron braid, in short, I'm delighted). What is the button to disable or enable passive cooling. I didn't know about this at all. I measured the efficiency (output) in the load, it turned out 88% when applying 500 watts! It is not audible at all at low and medium loads, at high it is audible, but weakly. Doesn't overheat. I looked at the layout under the set, everything is very neatly done. I found a disassembled photo on the Internet, everything is on Japanese spare parts, almost all polymer capacitors. There is also a sense of heaviness. and something noble. I put it in the computer and I’m 100% sure that it will plow for more than one year. I hope my review will help someone decide, but I'm very pleased. The workmanship is top notch. Seasonic FOCUS GX (formerly known as Focus Plus Gold SSR) is one of the best 80 PLUS Gold power supplies that competes with Platinum solutions in terms of overall performance. By the way, the official platinum modification in the Seasonic FOCUS series is also available, as well as the compact SFX version.
Pioneers of block building
It is based on Seasonic's own design circuitry, including all the advanced know-how: DC-to-DC (it was Seasonic who was the first to transfer all their power supplies to separate stabilization), LLC and Single Rail. All this results in minimal supply voltage fluctuations along the lines and ultra-low ripple.
Ready to fly
Purely Japanese capacitors are used — a combination of Nichicon and Nippon Chemi-Con high-temperature series 105 °C. There are two cooling options to choose from, between which you can switch with a button on the case. For example, in the summer heat, you can activate a light constant airflow.

And in other seasons, it is wiser to use the hybrid mode: up to 30 percent of the load from the maximum power of the PSU, the 12-cm Ong Hua fan on the FDB bearing does not rotate at all, and then gradually increases speed. However, even with the maximum load on the PSU, the noise of the turntable remains relatively quiet. Moreover, in the case of Seasonic FOCUS GX, the real power exceeds the claimed one by a good hundred watts.
