How to choose an air conditionerThe main criteria to consider when choosing an air conditioner

What is the difference between a cheap air conditioner and an expensive one?Is it worth paying more when buying an air conditioner? Let's take a look at the pros and cons.
Model overview based on user reviews
The Samurai SMA-07HRDN1B ION 22 m² air conditioner is a reliable and cost-effective option for those seeking a balance between price and quality. It features a quiet operation and a sleek design, making it suitable for various settings. Users appreciate its auto mode function, which eliminates the need for constant manual adjustments, and the inverter control that enhances efficiency. The unit includes self-cleaning and self-diagnosis functions, a timer, and can operate for heating down to -15°C. However, some users have noted discrepancies in the advertised power output, suggesting that the actual performance may be slightly lower than expected. Despite this, the air conditioner is praised for its good build quality and energy-saving capabilities, making it a solid choice for those needing an affordable and effective cooling solution.

The air conditioner (outdoor unit) has a GMCC ASK75D43UEZE compressor, which produces a maximum of 7000 Btu / h, and there should be a GMCC ASK89D53UEZ compressor, which has a maximum value of 9110 Btu / h or 2670 W cooling capacity !!! It turns out that they sold me model 07 instead of 09 !!!!! This is typical for China! The good thing is that I intuitively took the Samurai FZ-V DC SMA-09HRDN1B ION air conditioner with a decent power reserve !!! Good build quality , high quality plastic , good price / quality ratio and energy saving model . The cooling / heating power is incorrectly indicated by the manufacturer - I will write in the comments. |
i'll add my review: during the Epiphany, there were frosts of -24, it worked, survived. The office area is 27 sq.m. In the morning, it was +14 in the office. I consulted with installers, an inverter can be operated at such temperatures. The main thing is not to turn it off, otherwise, upon starting, it most likely will go into protection mode until it warms up. In the second office, a Leberg Thor inverter 12 BTU is installed, it draws 1.2 kW from the network, so it matches. The Leberg 12" and Samurai 18" heat approximately the same, maybe the Samurai is slightly more powerful, hard to determine for sure. By the way, the Leberg also worked at -24, everything is fine with it as well. Simple conclusion: now I would only take Leberg, it matches, but it's more expensive. The design is better with the Samurai. Decide for yourself. operates for heating at -24, tested. power does not match use Samurai SMA-12HRDN1B ION month or more |
so, it was purchased for the office to provide heating, primarily during the winter and autumn periods. The first and biggest downside is that the power listed on the packaging is 18 BTU, which means the power consumption from the network should be around 2 kW per hour at maximum. After installation, I immediately noticed that it does not obviously heat at 18 BTU; I have a regular 12 BTU, non-inverter, at home, and it heats about the same. The installers are good, and no freon leaks were detected. It was +3 outside at that moment; eventually, I checked the power consumption from the network, and it turned out that at maximum, it pulls 1.25 kW per hour, and it was +12 in the office, working at maximum, which corresponds exactly to 12 BTU. Also, the "I-feel" function doesn't work quite correctly; it was set to 23 degrees, it heated to 25, and then it switched off. The remote was seen at this moment, so it's a flaw of the air conditioner itself. The built-in sensor in the indoor unit is also slightly inaccurate. On the plus side, the defrosting of the outdoor unit is quite correct. Also, the remote with backlighting is awesome, and it has many perks like ionization and self-cleaning. If it weren't for the misleading power, it would be a solid 5 with a minus, but as it stands, a maximum of 4 stars. nice design, operating temperature for heating up to minus 15, availability of additional sensor on the external unit (adaptation to negative temperatures?) the power does not match, the temperature sensor does not work quite correctly. use Samurai SMA-18HRDN1B month or more i recommend it should buy |
