Good monitor, I've been using it for 2 and a half years and it still pleases me. 24 inches, 91 ppi is good for gaming and use, 27 inches 81 ppi, 32 inches 68 ppi. They are better suited for people with poor eyesight as they can see the lack of resolution, and a person with good eyesight will see the grid. 144 Hz, 1ms, 3000:1, VA the short DisplayPort cable on 27-inch and larger models reveals a lack of monitor resolution, namely 91 PPI for 24 inches, 81 PPI for 27 inches, and 68 PPI for 32 inches. 81 PPI and 68 PPI are already insufficient for comfortable use. A really good monitor bought at the Samsung store, thanks to free delivery. The monitor quality is good, viewing angles are also very good, didn't find a single dead pixel, and the picture and color are also excellent in its price category, very good. Disgusting monitor, for 20,000 rubles it's better to choose alternatives from other manufacturers. Starting with the stand, it has a very inconvenient design, poorly painted around the bolt areas, and is very long at the back. The thing is, my previous monitor was almost against the wall with no issues, whereas this one stands about 10-15 cm away from it, all thanks to the mega-long rear arm of the stand. Next, the refresh rate, not only did it not exceed 140 Hz with my HDMI cable, but even with the included DP cable, it's the same story, so I had to buy an HDMI 2.0 cable myself. The factory calibration of the matrix is terrible, the gamma is way too high, the brightness is extremely low, and even when changing the gamma, everything shifts to some sort of gray-brown shade, without additional calibration, the colors are awful! Well, the PPI for a 32-inch monitor with a FULL HD resolution is normal, you shouldn't expect anything better, but even with one not-so-unknown company, let's call it "life is good," for some reason you don't see giant pixels that practically burn your eyes; of course, you could move the monitor further away, oh right, the stand. A good gaming monitor doesn't have to be sky-high. Confirmation of this in fact is a balanced gaming model with a 27-inch Samsung Odyssey G3 screen.
Quick Screen
The model is based on a VA-panel with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Claimed maximum screen brightness is 250 cd/m², static contrast ratio is 3,000:1, viewing angles are 178° in all planes, and GtG response time is measured at 4 ms. The refresh rate of the picture on the screen reaches 144 Hz. Smooth image transmission without tearing is ensured by AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive frame rate synchronization technology, adopted by the Samsung Odyssey G3 27.
Eye fatigue protection
To reduce eye fatigue during prolonged pastime in virtual game worlds , the model was equipped with a special protective Eye Saver Mode. It reduces the intensity of the glow of the blue component of the spectral palette. However, the monitor uses a flicker-free backlight based on W-LED technology.
Weighty trump cards
The monitor connection interfaces are represented by one HDMI 2.0 port along with VGA and Display Port 1.2 connectors. It does not have built-in speakers. The position of the monitor is flexibly adjustable in height, tilt and rotation up to portrait mode. Also, the design of the model provides holes for a VESA wall mount with a size of 100x100 mm. Balanced equipment and excellent picture quality are the most significant trumps up the sleeve of the Samsung Odyssey G3 27.
