Equipped with proprietary 64-layer MLC 3D V-NAND memory and advanced Samsung MJX controller, which is equipped with a fast 512 MB buffer based on LPDDR4-1866 memory and has improved Extreme ECC error correction methods . Such hardware provides uncompromisingly high performance, which allows you to position this device as a premium SATA SSD.
The drive is designed to create new and upgrade old personal computers and laptops with the third generation Serial ATA interface. It features native support for all common hardware encryption standards (TCG Opal and Encrypted Drive-IEEE1667), so it can be used to protect data with the AES-256 algorithm on the fly, that is, without the slightest impact on disk performance. The Samsung 860 PRO SSD [MZ-76P256BW] shows consistently high read (560 Mbps) and write (530 Mbps) speeds in both sequential and random loads. Parallel processing of the TRIM instruction is supported without any noticeable performance degradation. Samsung provides a full five-year warranty and declares a write capacity of 300 TB, which allows you to write 82 GB of data to the drive daily for 10 years.

I've been using it for a few months, this is the first SSD in my hands. I'm thrilled. Windows 10 boots in 10-13 seconds, initially it was 5-7 seconds. The manufacturer is actually two: China and Korea, I ordered Korea, but they brought China from the warehouse, as the difference is only visible on the packaging((( Well, for now I'm as happy as a clam) Speed I notice that the SSD is aimed at performing a single task at maximum speed; when performing several significantly heavy tasks, it loses speed to that of a regular HDD. use Samsung MZ-76P512BW few months |
