I've been using it for almost a year, primarily for backing up work projects. It works without complaints, and unlike other users, it doesn't disconnect when connected via a Type-C/Type-C cable. The casing is sturdy, it has already endured "hammer and chisel" as seen in the photo, and it still works. The drive already has Samsung software installed, which allows you to restrict write access with a password, or with a password and fingerprint (you can add several fingerprints at once). The software supports Windows, OSX, and Android. I initially thought it would completely block access, but password protection makes it "read-only." There is a read/write indicator around the fingerprint scanner. Resistant to physical abuse, the ability to restrict disk writing with a password and/or fingerprint, includes 2 cables Type-A/Type-C and Type-C/Type-C, very compact!, has a read/write indicator.
