I bought it after listening to my friends and having seen enough of the large volume and a whole bunch of cooking programs. In reality, everything turned out to be not so simple, it is really possible to cook in a slow cooker, but this has its own specifics. Talking about it is useless, you have to try it with your own hands. The food bowl is quite large. However, it doesn’t hold five liters, and if measured with liquid, the actual usable volume is 3-3.5 liters. That’s still quite a lot and more than sufficient for a family of three. It’s best used for dishes that require long cooking or simmering, as well as for making porridge. I use it at least a couple of times a week, so it's fair to say it's not left unused. It saves me a significant amount of my personal time, although the cooking itself takes longer than on the stove. However, it works excellently with the "set it and forget it" principle. It comes with a long official warranty. It seems to me that it lacks power. Water takes a long time to boil, cooking is also quite slow, and many dishes can be prepared on gas almost twice as fast. The method of selecting a program is questionable. Because there are so many programs, you have to press the unfortunate "menu" button for a long time and often. And if you accidentally skip it, you have to repeat the entire process. It could have been designed more rationally. The non-stick coating of the bowl disappointed me. Particles of porridge began to stick from almost the very beginning, and it's getting worse over time. There's a baking and roasting mode, but after four attempts, I still haven't managed to achieve anything decent. I think it's time to look for a replacement bowl, which means additional expenses. |
