How to choose an electric kettleMain selection factors and tips for finding the best electric kettle

Electric kettles come in various good options, and this Redmond is among them! I first bought this kettle about 6 years ago for work - it's beautiful, with a light, an original lid, and a 25-month warranty! I periodically clean it inside - there's residue from tap water on the bottom and walls (I should be using purified water). Citric acid works very well to dissolve this scale - 1 teaspoon per 1/3 of the kettle's volume - and after a few minutes, the scale is gone! So, this kettle is still working perfectly to this day. Amazing! And thanks to the manufacturer for the quality. I don't know how it is now, but I bought the same kettle for home two days ago (before I had a regular one, then a glass one with light, Maxwell - stopped working after a year or a year and a half). I hope it will bring joy for a long time. It's a pleasure to use - it's nice to look at, nice to hold - you can feel the quality. The lid opens completely and smoothly, it doesn't get too hot. It fits well with the flask, and when boiling, steam comes out through the spout and a little from under the lid. That's fine. Someone mentioned in reviews that the walls of the glass flask get very hot when heated, and they're surprised by this! Yes, the flask is hot, but that's understandable - there's boiling water inside! when heating, it makes noise (like all do), but it can be quieter. It has no drawbacks! |
i want to get rid of it after a week of use. beautiful design, lighting-just romantic, the lid closes well and overall-looks very cozy has to be descaled daily, leaks from below, probably the gasket is poor quality, or something else... and becomes very hot. use Redmond RK-G127 week |
Before buying a kettle, I read the reviews. They were mostly unfavorable. But I still bought it because it suits my design preferences. The water pours from the spout as it should, without spilling. The glass may heat up, I haven't checked since I handle kettles by the handle. Consequently, I don't leave greasy marks on the glass. No rust has appeared. I hope it will work well and last a long time. Normal, nice-looking kettle. Very compact compared to Scarlett. Didn't find it. use Redmond RK-G127 month or more |
