How to choose UPSMethods for choosing UPS for boiler, computer, refrigerator and other equipment
Model overview based on user reviews
The Powercom RPT-600A Schuko 600 VA UPS is generally seen as a good value for money option, effectively serving its intended purpose. However, users have noted some limitations, particularly its incompatibility with power supplies featuring active PFC, which is common in many systems. Additionally, the UPS lacks surge protection and high-frequency interference protection, which some users found necessary, leading them to use additional stabilizers. Battery longevity has been a concern, with reports of batteries failing before the warranty period ends. The bright blue diode light can be disruptive at night, requiring users to cover it. Overall, while it performs adequately for basic needs, those with specific requirements might consider investing in a more robust UPS model.

Choose UPS wisely.
25 December 2022
Three months after replacing the dead battery, the second one died as well. It turned out that I didn't consider two factors. 1st: My computer consumes 150 kWh, but the power supply is 650 kWh, and therefore the UPS should have been chosen with a capacity of at least 900 kWh. 2nd: My computer has a power supply with active PFC, which is an important factor often overlooked by many. I recommend the article "Pros and Cons of Power Supply with Active PFC" https://www.abnet.am/power_supply_with_pfc.html
Works if the UPS is chosen wisely.
Not compatible with power supplies with active PFC (which is the majority of PSUs).
normal model, nothing special

It is better to buy a better UPS.
Allows you to correctly finish the job and go into hibernation (my computer consumes an average of 150 kWh).
This UPS does not have surge protection and protection against high-frequency interference - but it turned out that this is important. Until I put an APC Line-R 1500VA, Schuko (LS1500-RS) stabilizer in front of the Powercom RPT-600A Schuko, it was impossible to work. The battery has not lived through the two-year warranty period, and the warranty repair has been going on for the third week, and it is not clear when the UPS will be returned from repair. And yet - a too bright blue diode illuminated half the room at night - I had to almost completely seal it with black electrical tape.
