What to choose for beard shaving and trimming?A short guide to the wide range of men's shaving and styling devices
good model, I liked it.

I bought it after the 3000 series, with which I was very satisfied. What can I say - it shaves cleaner, a little faster, completely. It works better on the neck and shaves longer hairs better. But overall, I wouldn’t say it's much better than the 3000 series. The fact that the head bends is inconvenient for me. Because of this, the glide is worse; I personally hold the head with my fingers to keep it from bending.

And the second main point - it feels like you're cutting your skin. Yes, the shave is smoother but also more noticeable on the skin. POSSIBLY, as with the first razor, I will get used to it. At first, there was irritation too, which went away in a month. But for now, I see that the same result can be achieved with the 3000 series razor; just make an extra 2-3 passes on the neck and it will be the same.

IMHO, the entire Philips series are excellent razors; I think the 5000 series with sh50 heads would be the ideal price/quality ratio. And you can also put these heads on the 3000 series, which is a plus, of course.
Faster, cleaner
It hurts to shave, the head bends in all directions. Price.
great model, love it

I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I'm still not used to the electric shaver. As a result, shaving takes longer than usual. I hope that over time I'll get the hang of it and the process will go faster, as I bought the electric shaver specifically to simplify shaving. However, there are no issues with the quality of the shave. It shaves everything very cleanly. And the floating head easily shaves in places where I had to specifically reach with a regular razor, often getting cuts. I have prominent cheekbones, and it was always a problem to scrape everything clean behind them. There was irritation only the first couple of times, I'm glad I was warned about it, otherwise I would have been upset. Now there are no problems at all.
Shaves for a long time, but very cleanly. Moreover, you don't necessarily need to stand in front of a mirror and lather your face. You can even do it lying in bed. Assembly is not in China, but in the Netherlands. I was surprised, thought that the Chinese assemble everything these days. Can be washed directly under the tap. Charges quickly. And you can give it a quick charge for a single shave, which has already come in handy once.
High cost. However, when I decided to buy my first electric shaver, I chose not to skimp and go for a good brand right away. I believe I made the right choice. If I calculated how much disposable razors cost me, sooner or later it will pay for itself. Another minor drawback is the lack of a cap to cover the shaving part. Not a big deal, as it’s stored in a case anyway.
