The black colour of the Philips vacuum cleaner body is diluted with turquoise inserts. Despite the massiveness (total weight of 6.7 kg), the device looks very elegant, including due to the curved “leg”, similar to a sail. If, for example, Karcher CV 30/1, you probably want to hide it from prying eyes during storage, then Philips AquaTrio Pro FC 7088 easily fits into a modern interior and does not interfere if it remains in a conspicuous place.
The only thing that can spoil the impression of a stylish appearance is an 8-metre power cord wound around the back of the case. There is no automatic winding for the wire, plus it can interfere during work.
Dust collection, washing and drying
The vacuum cleaner is designed for dry and wet cleaning of hard floors, including parquet and laminate. The process of removing dust, washing, collecting liquids from surfaces occurs simultaneously. Therefore, the management of Philips AquaTrio Pro FC 7088 is as simple as possible: there is one on / off button.
A 500-watt motor is responsible for suction of dust and other contaminants. He is assisted by an electric turbo brush with two rotating microfibre rollers. The first one “pulls up” debris, removes stains and absorbs water, and the second one absorbs residual moisture, thereby speeding up drying and preventing streaks. According to users, the model handles well with these functions.
The vacuum cleaner is not intended for cleaning carpets. As soon as the turned on device is “started” on a carpet with any type of pile, the protection will work and the motor will turn off.
Capacious tanks
Philips AquaTrio Pro FC 7088 is equipped with two containers: one for clean (0.65 liters), and the second for dirty water (this is the 0.8 liter dust collector). This is enough for wet cleaning on 50 – 60 square metres. And the corresponding indicator will “notify” about the lack of liquid or overfilling of the tanks.
A wide brush will save time on cleaning floors, however, its overall bulkiness makes it a little difficult to clean in corners, near baseboards, under furniture with a small clearance in height.
Easy maintenance and operation
The rollers of the turbo brush and the reservoirs of the vacuum cleaner are easy to clean. Additionally, an automatic cleaning system is provided (to eliminate dust and dirt residues from the system): the vacuum cleaner is placed in a flush tray with water and turned on for a few seconds.
Philips AquaTrio Pro FC 7088 is able to become the main assistant and guarantor of high-quality cleaning where there are no carpets. In other cases, completely abandoning a conventional vacuum cleaner will not work.
