Multi-purpose consumer multimedia DLP projector with a high-brightness LED laser lamp, native resolution of 1920x1080, improved colour reproduction and full support for high dynamic range images. It is a mid-range product designed for home use. It can become the basis of a high-quality personal cinema or an electronic entertainment centre. The Optoma HZ40 projector is great for watching movies, TV shows or live sports on the big screen.
A dedicated gaming mode optimizes response time, contrast and brightness for a comfortable gaming experience on game consoles, PCs or laptops. The built-in 10W speaker provides a basic level of acoustic design. Thanks to two HDMI interface ports, the projector can be easily connected to any digital source. It also supports the connection of HDMI adapters for streaming content (Google Chromecast, Apple TV, etc.). DLP technology guarantees high-definition images with an increased pixel fill factor (without the “mosquito net” effect). There's enough detail for a thrilling cinematic experience, while improved Rec.709 colour space and HDR support further enhance realism. A convenient system for correcting geometric distortions and an optical zoom with a magnification of 1.3x are provided.
