OPPO Reno2 Z 128 GB

A handsome smartphone from the strong middle strata of the mobile phone society running the Android OS. On the shelves of stores, the model is presented in designer colours "Shining Night" and "Moonlight White". This is with regard to the back of the device, where you can also see the vertical “clip” of the quad camera (48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP, i.e. the main one with a large sensor, wide-angle and two auxiliary portrait modules).
The “facade” of the smartphone greets the user with a 6.53-inch AMOLED screen “covered” with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass. A fast and responsive fingerprint sensor is installed under the screen surface. Fortunately, there are no cutouts in the display. All thanks to the retractable 16 MP periscope front camera. The OPPO Reno2 Z 128GB is powered by the eight-core MediaTek Helio P90 chipset clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The amount of RAM on board the mobile device is 8 GB. The capacity of the battery "under the hood" of the smartphone is exactly 4000 mAh. She was “brought up” with a fast 20-watt charging using VOOC 3.0 technology — in just half an hour at the outlet, the energy reserves in the battery tanks can be replenished by about 60%.

Very cool design! and I especially like the sliding selfie camera, which does not take up space on the display so it seems truly frameless! a huge power reserve and excellent cameras - the best I could find on the market - so I’m more than happy with the purchase! everything - |
The most high-quality and fast smartphone I've ever owned. Works excellently. Photos, videos, night shots are very cool and come out high quality. The advanced settings and design are simply impressive. I recommend OPPO Reno to anyone looking for a great smartphone. Camera, design, performance Don't see |
Honestly, I took the phone at risk, since this OPPO brand was not liked by a friend of mine who knows about phones, bless you, and he himself has a phone with an initial cost of 24k. (The phone is OnePlace 7T, experienced users will understand). But as soon as I told him about this model and its price, I expected that I would get negative feedback in this direction again, but it turned out that my friend said - this phone model can and should be taken!) On my own behalf, I will say that I am 5/5 satisfied with the phone points A retractable camera is like a show off for visitors, it makes you stand out from the rest)) Photo quality is top. When I found out that the smartphone also improves photos autonomously, I was freaked out for a long time, because I didn’t even immediately understand why the photos looked in maximum quality, and you couldn’t tell that they were edited, but in fact, the camera can professionally smooth out my face, which is why my face turned out to be much cuter than it really is Retractable camera - fire)) Processor Mediatek use OPPO Reno2 Z 128GB few months |
The most stylish mid-range smartphone?
Smartphone designers are now frankly bored at work - on the front panel, the screen takes up all the space, on the back, too, you can’t really clear up, but you need to stand out somehow. So a year and a half ago, bright pearlescent paint came into fashion, which was used literally everywhere. Now the trend has turned in the opposite direction and more and more smartphones with plain back covers are arriving on store shelves. These include Oppo Reno2 Z with a stylish and minimalist solid colour back. Such a device will look equally good in a teenager's pocket, and in a formal suit, and in a woman's handbag. And for once, the manufacturer put a beautiful and neat leather-look case in the box, which is not a shame to put on a smartphone.
Really fast pop-up front camera
The entire front panel is occupied by a 6.53-inch AMOLED screen. The front camera was made retractable to free up more usable area. Last time, we didn’t really like smartphones with such front cameras, since the camera went out for a second or two and physically didn’t have time to hide in the case if you dropped the smartphone from your hands. For the first time in our memory, OPPO did everything right - the camera unit looks reliable, it leaves the case in a split second, and its appearance is accompanied by lighting and sound effects that can be customized. As for the display, it's a typical mid-range AMOLED with mottled, slightly unnatural colours and deep blacks. Is that the colour palette is not initially warm and acidic, but blue and cold.
Good but not perfect camera
Oppo once again seduces customers with a camera of a whole scattering of diverse modules: on the rear panel there is a main and wide-angle camera, as well as a monochrome sensor, a depth sensor and an additional TOF sensor. No TV, unfortunately. The quality of the camera roughly corresponds to its price: the smartphone shoots and photographs well, but still it is not a first-class camera phone. For example, he behaves strangely at dusk, when the lighting has deteriorated, but it's too early for night mode. A digital zoom smears the detail of objects in the frame.
8 GB RAM but average processor
In the iron part, too, there are compromises. On the one hand, the OPPO Reno2 Z has the flagship 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the heart of the device is the Mediatek Helio P90, which is far from the most powerful chip for the price we pay for the Reno2 Z. Despite this, the smartphone handles PUBG-caliber toys well and scrolls content-laden Facebook, Instagram or TikTok feeds without freezing. The rest of the fronts are also in order: there is fast charging, the case is made of premium materials, plus there is NFC and modern communication modules, and the fingerprint scanner built into the display works quickly and clearly. Taking into account the price tag, which has already dropped below $400, we get a very interesting and combat-ready device.
