A folding EDC knife from the specialized brand OPINEL is a relatively inexpensive solution for various application scenarios. It is suitable for hiking and other outdoor activities, as well as for various household needs, including typical kitchen tasks. In working condition, the model has a length of 21 cm, and when folded it is slightly less than 12 cm, which allows it to be carried in a pocket.

The OPINEL 10 VRI Inox knife has a 10-centimeter blade with a clip-point profile, which increases versatility, provides comfortable cutting and effective piercing operations. The blade is made of 12C27 steel: this alloy has increased resistance to corrosion and can be used in damp conditions. High-quality hardening of the metal provides increased hardness at the level of 58 HRC, which means the cutting edge must maintain its sharpness for a long time. The handle of the model is made of wood, namely beech: it looks impressive, is light in weight, but is sensitive to moisture. The complete case and high operational safety also deserve special mention, including blocking arbitrary folding due to the brand’s proprietary design - the viroblock lock - with a characteristic rotary ring with a longitudinal slot.
