We bought the Omron M1 Basic for home use, so I'm writing as a woman who values simplicity and no unnecessary settings. This blood pressure monitor is really easy to understand: one button — and it works, nothing extra. The readings appear accurate, results are consistent. I later checked the results with an A&D device. Almost the same. More than sufficient for monitoring blood pressure. The cuff is comfortable, easy to put on, and doesn't squeeze your arm more than necessary. A separate plus for the power supply: it operates on both 4 AA batteries and a power adapter. This is really convenient, especially during power outages — you’re not tied to a socket and can easily measure blood pressure at any time. Overall, this is a simple, reliable blood pressure monitor without "bells and whistles," which performs its primary task well. For home use — a successful and practical choice. Very easy to use. It can work with 4 AA batteries or from a power supply. This is very convenient, as it takes up little space, so it can be taken on the go. The package includes good quality Toshiba batteries.
The cuff is comfortable, easy to put on and adjust. Unlike the old AnD Medical, it has an automatic pressure release after measurement. It has a large screen with big numbers, so even with poor eyesight, you can read what is displayed. There is an arrhythmia indicator.
Overall, I liked the device, large screen, easy operation, good cuff. The readings are fairly accurate. Sometimes there is some oddity where one arm shows one reading and the other shows another, but I think that is not the fault of the blood pressure monitor. In general, to get accurate readings, you need to measure the pressure three times, and then the average value will be correct.
