Additional features game controller OCZ NIA:
The Neural Impulse Actuator (NIA) game controller is a product that allows you to control the game without a joystick, at the behest of your mind. Within a few minutes, you just need to calibrate this manipulator, and you can enjoy all the benefits of the civilization of the future.
The current version of the NIA controller uses carbon fibre embedded in soft plastic as the backing for the headband and sensors.
The NIA manipulator was introduced to the market as a gaming device, but it was developed with the participation of Dr. Andrew Junker, who invented the technology for medical purposes. The main advantages of the controller are a significant reduction in response time from approximately 200ms using standard mouse clicks to 80-150ms using eyelid or other facial reactions. In addition, multiple streams of impulses can be divided into several zones by parameters, and each zone within the stream can be assigned to a single key on the keyboard. Each keystroke can be further assigned to different modes, including single press, hold, repeat and pause, providing complete freedom considering that the NIA pad can be customized for any application.
The NIA comes in a slim metal case, communicates with a computer via a USB 2.0 interface, is a stylish headband with three carbon compound sensors, and comes with user-friendly software.
- The device allows you to translate brain impulses into control commands
