Outdated Product
High-end two-section CBO from the American brand NZXT, which is one of the leaders in the market of liquid cooling systems. In the hierarchy of the NZXT brand, this model occupies an intermediate role: its power significantly exceeds the capabilities of single-section Kraken models, but at the same time it is not able to achieve the same effective cooling as the conditional Kraken Z73 with three coolers and a decorative water block. The NZXT Kraken X63 is an all-in-one cooling system with a pre-assembled heatsink, fans, pump and water block. Its key element is a 280 mm long aluminium radiator with a copper substrate, which is blown from above by a pair of branded Aer P fans with adjustable speed in the range from 500 to 1800 rpm. The signature feature of this model is an unusual decorative...water block that runs through several LED rings. Their radiance reflects off the lid's mirror finish, creating a unique visual effect that NZXT called the Infinity Mirror Effect. To facilitate the installation of the system, it was equipped with durable and flexible tubes in a protective braid 40 cm long, as well as all popular socket mounts of recent years.

Model overview based on user reviews
The NZXT Kraken X63 is a water cooling system designed for processors, featuring a 280 mm aluminum heatsink and a copper plate, compatible with various AMD and Intel sockets. It includes two 140 mm fans with a speed range of 500 to 1800 rpm, offering a maximum air flow of 98.17 CFM and a noise level between 21 to 38 dB. The system is praised for its quiet operation and excellent cooling performance for processors with a TDP of 125W, making it aesthetically pleasing and space-efficient. However, some users noted that the pump can be heard buzzing in complete silence, and improper installation may lead to fans running at maximum speed, causing noise. Despite being more expensive, some users found it less effective than certain air coolers, especially in cases with hot graphics cards. Overall, it is recommended for those seeking a reliable water cooling solution, but potential buyers should be aware of the installation nuances to ensure optimal performance.

I struggled for a long time to decide whether to buy this liquid cooling system (LCS) or the "be quiet dark rock 4 pro". I watched tons of YouTube videos and comparisons and concluded that the LCS should work quieter and provide better cooling, especially in a case where a hot graphics card is installed and the air cooler's fans suck in hot air from the graphics card.

In reality, things turned out a bit differently than I thought. My friend and I bought almost identical components (both have a 10850k CPU, ASUS motherboard, be quiet 500 case), but my friend decided to buy the "be quiet dark rock 4 pro" instead of the LCS. Here's how the results compare:

This LCS - at idle 29-31 degrees, under stress test 66 degrees. At idle, you can hear the pump humming. (Thermal paste: Cooler Master MasterGel Pro V2)

AIR "be quiet dark rock 4" my friend has - at idle 19-20 degrees, under stress test 57 degrees, absolute silence at idle. (Thermal paste included in the package).

In the end, it's a bit disappointing that the LCS, which is 40-45% more expensive, falls short compared to the air cooler.
I've been using it for 3 weeks, it takes up little space in the case, and looks aesthetically pleasing. It cools the i9 10850k well, I'm satisfied with everything, but there are a few unpleasant moments, I'll talk about them in the "comments".
in complete silence, you can hear the pump buzzing. When connecting the AIO to the motherboard, it's better to follow the motherboard manual. Initially, I installed it according to the AIO instructions (pump to CPU_FAN1, fans through a Y-splitter to CPU_OPT1) - the pump is controlled via proprietary software, but the fans are not controlled at all, causing them to spin at maximum speed and make a lot of noise. I connected it as indicated in the motherboard manual (pump to CPU_AIO, fans to CPU_FAN1 and CPU_OPT1) - the AIO started working almost silently, except for the pump hum.
