Model overview based on user reviews
The Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 tires are generally well-regarded for their performance in winter conditions, particularly in deep snow and slush, where they excel. Users appreciate their quiet and soft ride, with some noting that fuel consumption remains stable when switching to these tires. The tires offer predictable handling, even in challenging conditions, and are praised for their comfort and noise levels. However, they are not without drawbacks; several users mention that they can be unpredictable on ice, which is a common issue for studless tires. Additionally, the price is considered high by many, with some questioning the value compared to other brands. A notable concern is the wear resistance, as one user reported significant wear after just one season. Overall, while the Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 is a solid choice for winter driving, potential buyers should weigh the cost against its performance and longevity.

Overall impressions are as follows - a good "sticky" tire for urban conditions, provided that the winter in your city is not too harsh. I read that it's the "best tire on the market in its class." But that's marketing nonsense; it's good but far from ideal. It behaves well, and its performance can almost always be predicted. The price could be lower, but as always, you pay extra for a fancy brand. Decent tires for Kia Sportage. Performed very well in deep snow and slush. Not so great on ice, might skid, so always be ready for that. Can't comment on wear resistance yet. Only bought them last year and ended up driving very little last winter. But I've read online reviews where authors promise these tires will last for many years. We'll see how it turns out. Comfort level is fine, there's some noise, but not too much. Everything seems fine. No critical remarks. use Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 month or more i recommend it should buy |
If you believe numerous reviews, this is almost the best tire on the market. In reality, that's not quite the case. Yes, the tire is good, it performs everything I need from it. Although I haven't used it in really harsh winter conditions. But I can't say it's the best either. And since that's the case, I think the price is a bit high. However, you could say the same about almost all tires from leading manufacturers. Just good winter tires. Not worse, though not better than other similar models. Quiet and soft, doesn't dig into the snow. Drove in both positive and negative temperatures (around -10 degrees). Sometimes behaves unpredictably on ice. But this can be said about any studless tire. The second drawback is the cost. I understand a beautiful brand, advertising, and all that. But still, they could have toned down their ambitions a bit. use Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 month or more i recommend it should buy |
Bought it last year and was satisfied. It's a great option for winter. It doesn't get stuck in the snow, drives out even from deep ruts, despite the fact that the tires are not studded. The car also handles well on ice. The main thing is that its behavior is quite predictable, so driving the car is not difficult at all. The only thing I want to point out is that these tires are specifically for winter. They won't work as a summer option, as when the temperature is above zero, it feels like the car is floating. But even then, it's not a big deal, as the direction of movement is not lost. No. use Nokian Hakkapeliitta R2 month or more i recommend it should buy |
