Model overview based on user reviews
The Nikon Speedlight SB-910 is a highly regarded flash unit, praised for its fast recharge speed and high synchronization capabilities, allowing shooting with shutter speeds up to 1/8000 seconds. Users appreciate the simple display that shows settings for both the flash and camera, and the convenience of configuring through the camera. The flash includes a light-diffusing attachment and filters, enhancing its versatility. Despite its excellent performance, some users note the cheap quality plastic and slight play in the shoe after attachment, which may be a design flaw. The case provided is considered impractical for frequent use. Overall, the SB-910 is seen as a professional-grade flash that delivers on its promises, although improvements in build quality would be welcomed.
Pros
Cons
There’s nothing bad to say about the operation of the flash at all, it completely does everything it’s supposed to do, there are no deviations from what is stated in the description, the only thing is that manufacturers are now trying in every possible way to make the model cheaper by using cheap plastic, there’s something missing somewhere, but in my opinion let it be it will be more expensive, but if it is of high quality, then everything, and not the appearance for 3 rubles... I recommend that anyone else have a choice over models and you will not regret it, everything will be exactly as you think... you will not be disappointed. made for people and very well, a simple display displaying all the settings of both the flash and the camera, the ability to configure through the same camera or camera, there is simply a gorgeous aperture mode, when the flash itself determines the required amount of light, high synchronization speed, it is possible to shoot with shutter speed of 1-8000 seconds, you can use it in remote mode, you can even connect to the simplest photos. My set included a light-scattering attachment, it came in very handy a couple of times, it’s a small thing, but nice, plus I was pleased with the set with its stand). Well, the main bonus that just knocks you off your feet is the reload speed, you can click every second... without thinking about it at all. the case is not practical, it is only suitable for transporting long distances, it is unrealistic to work with it, it will be stupid to spend 3-4 minutes on packing and unpacking, you need to immediately look for an alternative. Cheap quality plastic, but of course it didn’t affect performance in any way, it just looks like 3 rubles). There is a slight play in the shoe after fixing, and not only on me and on my photo, but on all the models that I was able to test on, either it’s a factory defect or it should be like that, although it shouldn’t... |
overall, as for a flash, it's very chic, it can safely be classified as pro equipment in the right hands... I recommend it. fast recharge, very fast for its price, of course, this all depends on having properly charged batteries; if they're drained, charging won't be quick. perfectly fits any camera, via the average connection. The set includes a light-diffusing attachment and filters. the lamp itself is excellently balanced, very good, the daylight output is simply superb. Settings for both the flash and the camera are displayed on the screen, and it's convenient that they are all in one place, as constantly switching back and forth is a hassle. there is play after you attach the flash; it really wobbles, although in some models it fits perfectly. The plastic doesn't feel very pleasant; it's rather cheap, so to speak. There is no flash charging indicator. Not to provide this for such money is just idiocy. And the case is terribly low quality, just a fabric one that falls apart in different directions... |
