The model is included in the 2021 MSI Optix gaming line and is positioned by the manufacturer as a mid-range product designed for multimedia and home use. MSI Optix MAG275R is based on a 27-inch IPS-matrix with a classic resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, a standard contrast ratio and a modest margin of brightness of 250 cd/m².
