High-end graphics card of the new generation based on the Blackwell architecture, introduced by NVIDIA in 2025. Compared to the previous Ada Lovelace series, it has significantly improved in performance while becoming more energy-efficient. The updated frame generation system, DLSS 4, can now create up to three consecutive intermediate frames — a noticeable step forward compared to DLSS 3.
This is particularly valuable in dynamic games with ray tracing, where the final frame rate increases sharply, and the picture remains smooth and stable. In addition to frame generation, NVIDIA has also revised the ray tracing system. In new games, the RTX 5070 demonstrates a cleaner and more stable image without the typical artifacts, flickering, and ghosting of previous generations.
Technically, the card is equipped with 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory with a 192-bit bus — the effective frequency reaches 28000 MHz, which provides a significant advantage compared to the RTX 4070. Performance paired with DLSS 4 approaches the level of the RTX 4090, which remained a flagship for a long time. The model itself belongs to the MSI Shadow series — a new 2025 line prioritizing strictness and restraint. No lighting, no glossy inserts — only matte black plastic and cold metal. The main message is "nothing excessive." The design uses Twin Frozr cooling: two Torx fans, a dense aluminum heatsink, a nickel-plated backplate, and sturdy supports that protect the card from sagging. This allows maintaining stable temperatures even in systems with limited airflow.
