Mifold Grab and Go Booster

The Mifold Grab and Go foldable booster is the perfect child car seat for sharing rides with your child in a taxi or rental car. It is lightweight (750g), ultra-compact when folded, and fits easily into a woman's purse or urban backpack.

Your mission

While the mission of most of the model's colleagues in the shop is to raise the child to a sufficient height above the level of the car seat, the brainchild of Miford focuses on the correct "laying" of the seat belt. From below, it is passed through sliding guides, in the upper segment — through a safety strap. The latter is designed to keep the booster and the child in it in the event of a sudden stop of the car during an accident.

Security questions

In matters of safety, the booster complies with the requirements of the European standard ECE44. But according to the results of crash tests, the ratings of the model, frankly, are below average. And the ergonomics of landing at the chair leaves much to be desired. Straight legs, stooped back and poor visibility — these are the main flaws of the product.

The car seat is assembled entirely from high quality materials. As a solution for outings with a child in carsharing cars or taxis, you really can’t find a better option. But it is better to install a full-size booster in the inside of your “iron” horse: it lifts the child higher and at least partially covers the pelvic area with armrests in side collisions. Well, the safety of a small passenger, as you know, is above all!
