Air conditioners of this brand cannot boast of super-advanced compressor technologies and high-tech bio- and nanofilters. But in all honesty, how many buyers can shell out $1,000 or more for such an innovation? There are very few in our country. But every second potential buyer wants to buy a modern air conditioner of good quality and reasonable price, which performs basic tasks well. It does an excellent job of cooling the apartment, and its total area is about 55 square meters. Cools especially well in turbo mode. Strict but cute design. To some it may even seem old-fashioned, but I like it. It uses a durable and reliable Toshib compressor. This is important, because a good compressor is the key to long-term operation of the entire air conditioner. Simple and convenient remote control. All the necessary functions are at hand, nothing more. The noise level is moderate. That is, in the fan's productive modes, it is heard well, but the noise spectrum is pleasant, without mechanical overtones. In the "LOW" mode, it is almost inaudible. Loud squeak when turning the air conditioner on and off. If during the day you can still ignore it, then at night it is very annoying. The worst part is that it can't be turned off. Lack of adjustment of the horizontal airflow guides from the remote control. In order to turn the flow to the left and right, it is necessary to stop the air conditioner, go upstairs to the outdoor unit, and turn these shutters manually. |

This is an entry-level model, but since this is an air conditioner from the serious Chinese brand Midea, its passport characteristics can be trusted. Everything that is promised in the technical description, he performs flawlessly. The price is excellent. One of the most affordable branded air conditioners. Cools five out of five. It brings a 30-square-meter room "to life" in turbo mode in about twenty minutes. Moderate noise level; in a work environment, you don't even notice its rustling, but at home, it would be audible. Timer allows the air conditioner to start half an hour before the first employee arrives. Very convenient to arrive in an already cooled room. Heats well in heating mode. It should not be used as the main source of heat (I googled that it depletes the compressor's resource three to four times faster), but as a backup or temporary solution until the real cold kicks in, it can work. The first week the vertical blinds creaked a little, but the plastic quickly rubbed in and the sound disappeared. It always beeps loudly when turned on and off. At work, it does not interfere, but at home such unswitchable happiness would certainly annoy. That's right at night. The remote control works reliably only from a distance of two to two and a half meters. Then the lottery begins. |
