The compound emphasises the chemical properties and results more resistant to the wear process. The tyres feature a central stripe which has a balanced mixture of silica and carbon black to enhance high speed stability, heat dispersal and to also provide balance between abrasion resistance and grip. There is also a full silica compound used in the shoulder, which when combined with the tread groove design, delivers excellent grip also on low friction surfaces.
