It has been working for a year or more, everything is in order, it does not make noise, it stands 3 meters from the bed, it does not interfere with sleep, there is no white plaque on the furniture. Indeed, a lot of water is placed, a convenient double nozzle with which you can direct the steam in the right direction (For example, towards the bed) It is impossible to wash the tank itself, only a bottle brush will fit, but it will not be able to clean it well. First impression — very large. Understandably, with such a tank volume, the dimensions are accordingly substantial. However, we got used to it over time, and it fit perfectly into the interior. I read reviews about the button sounds and screen backlight bothering people. My wife and I found the button sounds normal, not loud, and tolerable. Of course, it would be better to have the option to turn it off, but it's not a big deal. To prevent the backlight from disturbing us at night, we simply turned the device away from the bed with the screen facing the other direction. Unfortunately, I have no way to verify the hygrometer's accuracy. Also, I haven't turned on the ionization, as I don't see any point in using it. Honestly, I expected somewhat quieter fan operation. But you get used to the noise over time. Occasionally, the water gurgles, but this is probably normal for such humidifiers. It's convenient to pour water, the filling hole is large. It's a bit strange that the tank, despite its large volume, isn't fixed in the base and can simply be lifted out with the handle. So you need to be careful, especially when it's full. The water consumption at maximum level matches the specified characteristics. When the device was first turned on, it showed a relative humidity value of 35% in the room. I set the hygrometer to 50% during use, and honestly, we didn't notice any significant difference; it didn't become easier or harder to breathe or sleep. Therefore, for those who don't have a humidifier yet or are unsure about the necessity of purchasing one, I won't insist on buying it. Good design, fits well into the room's interior. Large tank, no need to refill water very often. Presence of a humidistat and a good price. Works reliably, in short. Terrible, unpleasant smell of plastic in the first days of use. Before (!) the first use, I rinsed the tank with distilled water. After about 1.5-2 hours, the whole room smelled like plastic (something similar to melting wiring). So, I decided to thoroughly wash the tank in hot water using detergent, rinsed it several times, also washed the top part of the base and left it on the balcony all day to air out. In the evening, I filled it with regular tap water (because distilled water is too expensive), started the humidifier — and, surprisingly, the unpleasant smell disappeared. Finally, it's pleasant while humidifying. There’s no option to turn off the button sound and screen backlight. But the same low humidity is harmful to the condition of the mucous membranes and health in general. But everything changed when my wife got pregnant and we were expecting a baby. Reading articles and forums suggested that for newborns, normal indoor humidity is not just desirable, it is necessary to create comfort. What happens when babies begin to feel discomfort, I think all parents know. Three months before giving birth, last September, I bought this humidifier. I did not expect that his work changes the air so much. Now I regret that I did not buy such a device earlier. It turned out that the usual winter dryness in the nose could be so easily avoided. I'm not talking about how many infections with all sorts of respiratory viral infections could have been avoided if the nasopharyngeal mucosa in winter would have been in a normal, and not overdried, state. This machine operates very quietly. It has sophisticated digital control and a built-in humidity sensor. Able to turn into cold steam up to a glass (about 250-300 ml) of water per hour, which is completely enough for a two-room apartment. The air becomes much more pleasant when the humidifier is running. It is desirable to use distilled water, but this pleasure is not cheap. Indeed, with round-the-clock operation in the most economical mode, this device evaporates about 2-2.5 liters of water. It turns out 60-70 liters per month, and the price of distillate is now about 3 to 12 UAH / liter. I found another way out and pour boiled deionized water. It seems to work normally and does not give a noticeable plaque. |
