as far as I know, this is the first 11.2-channel Maranz receiver. I was looking for a receiver that would play both music and soundtracks from films equally well, signed up for an audition to check in work. In my opinion, the device is close to perfection. but I can't afford to buy it yet. not the cheapest thing.
