Makita Japanese tools have long been recognizable, not only due to their unique colours, but also to their high build quality, functionality and reliability. With its powerful motor, the DTW251Z impact wrench makes it easy to work even with complex structures. However, the price of the device is appropriate — $ 250.

Appearances are not deceiving

The tool with dimensions of 165x79x234 mm sits comfortably in the hand, and the rubberized handle helps to reduce vibrations. It increases the comfort of use and the light weight of the product — less than 2 kg, including the battery. Here it is 18-volt, but, like the charger, it is not included in the kit.

Confidence in every detail

The high impact speed of 3200 bpm makes the tool suitable for mounting any threaded fasteners. But the torque is not the highest for a wrench, 230 Nm, so you will have to sweat over heavily rusty nuts.

The tool supports reverse mode, has a small LED light above the power button (though not bright enough) and an engine brake button. In general, a complete set for work of initial and intermediate levels of complexity. During breaks, it is convenient to hang the wrench on a belt using a metal hook.

Despite the performance and reliability of the DTW251Z, its price confuses, especially in the absence of a case, charger and battery. But as an additional tool to the "Makitov" arsenal of the master, this is an perfect option.
