But despite this, the phone is light and comfortable. On the front surface there is a small metal insert, which plays an exclusively decorative role. The front panel of the phone is made in the form of a plastic mirror surface. On the back wall — pleasant to the touch "soft" plastic. On the ends — glossy lining. In general, the phone looks very elegant. Opening the "clamshell" is quite convenient — the manufacturer has provided a special recess at the end.
Screen. LG KF300 is equipped with two screens. A small external one is located under the mirror surface of the front panel, due to which it becomes noticeable only during operation. This is a colour TFT display, but all the main information is displayed on it in black and white. For example, the logo that appears during the opening of the phone becomes coloured. In standby mode, the clock can be displayed on the external display. Moreover, for the convenience of people with impaired vision, the numbers on the watch can be very large (3 sizes are preinstalled). In addition, the external display shows information about an incoming call, the parameters of the FM radio station being played, and the name of the song being played on the MP-3 player.
The internal TFT display can be called medium in size. Its main feature is a wide selection of large fonts, which makes it easy to use the phone for the elderly and the visually impaired.
Call. The phone rings quite loudly, which, again, will be useful for older people. 64-tone polyphony and the ability to use MP-3 songs as a call allows you to customize the call to the individual taste of the user.
Control. The keypad of the phone is quite large with very large numbers. It is illuminated in quite a bright white colour, which makes the inscriptions on the keys visible to people with poor eyesight. Under the main display there are 4 buttons (calendar, alarm, pictures, favorites). By pressing the OK key during a call, the phone switches to hands-free mode.
Camera. The 1.92-megapixel digital camera is located at the top of the front panel. It is not equipped with autofocus. In good daylight, the pictures are of sufficient quality.
Multimedia. The LG KF300 is equipped with a simple and easy to use MP-3 player that plays MP3, AAC and WMA formats. It is possible to watch videos in 3GP and MP4 formats and listen to FM radio stations. Video recording in 3GP format is possible.
Memory. The phone has only 10 MB of built-in memory, but it can be expanded using micro SD cards, the slot for which is located under the battery, next to the SIM card. A little disappointing is the low data transfer rate when synchronizing with a computer — LG KF300 uses the outdated USB 1.1 technology. For greater speed, it will be more convenient to write information to a memory card through a card reader. The interface connector is on the right side.
