Since the monitor is 11% larger than 24˝, everything is very large. You need to set the scale to 90% (at 200% density) to match the usual FullHD. Rich colors, high resolution. The purchased monitor had a blue vertical spot on the right. How it was tested for color accuracy is unclear. There are slight deviations in color accuracy across the entire surface. For example, at the top in the middle, it slightly shifts to green. The preset modes are strange, sometimes shifting to red, sometimes to green. Calibration is non-existent. The brightness is poorly adjustable. The minimum brightness is too high, causing eye strain. Poor localization to Russian, both on the monitor itself and in Lenovo software. The range of Lenovo monitors has expanded significantly recently. In 2019, the portfolio of the Chinese brand was supplemented with the P27u-10 model, which is strongly oriented towards “Photoshop users” and graphic designers.
Wide Color Gamut
The monitor is notable for its wide coverage of popular color spaces: 146% of the sRGB "triangle" and 100% of the Adobe RGB space. The model's IPS matrix is well-calibrated at the factory, although there are occasional reports of uneven color temperature around the screen perimeter. The Lenovo P27u-10 display is built on a pseudo-ten-bit, 27-inch IPS matrix with high 4K resolution (3840x2160 pixels).
Flexible Adjustments
The screen of the model is framed by thin side bezels, which simplifies the deployment of multi-monitor configurations. Moreover, its position can be flexibly adjusted for height and tilt angle (up to rotating the display to portrait orientation). Minor complaints are only related to the large size of the standard stand, which prevents the monitor from being placed close to the wall. A solution to this could be mounting the setup on a VESA bracket with 100x100 mm spacing between the "mounting" holes.
Golden Mean
The monitor connects to video signal sources via Display Port interfaces, HDMI (2 pcs), and USB C port. The latter is used for data transmission, video, audio, and power supply. Additionally, the Lenovo P27u-10 features a four-port USB hub 3.0. There is no built-in audio, but a 3.5mm audio output is offered instead, allowing for direct sound output. The model serves as an excellent choice for users seeking a monitor in the "golden mean" category for graphic work.
