We installed all types of boilers at home; for electrical, we chose a Kospel (30kW) because my parents have had one for 15 years with no problems. Does the job 100%, heats a space of 250 square meters, and I only set 2 heaters in the heating settings just to maintain the temperature, otherwise it reaches the set temperature in the system very quickly. The consumption will only be 20 kW, roughly speaking, saving you money... Why do I do this? Because the temperature sensor in the house doesn't quickly sense air temperature changes, but the water in the system cools down very fast, making the heated floor quickly become cool, even though the air is still warm and the boiler doesn't activate accordingly. So, it's better to keep it at a minimum but running. Overall, the boiler works excellently, I've been using it for more than 2 years, and there are no complaints about its performance. There's no expansion tank, about 10 years ago it was built right into the boiler, and that was convenient. Now, you have to add one, which means more piping, etc... extra money. The boiler is noisy, or more precisely, the outer cover is. No matter how I tried attaching it with double-sided tape or using various papers and rubber, it bangs like crazy when it’s heating up. If your boiler room shares a wall with your bedroom, it'll be awful! It’s a single-circuit boiler, but that's not really a downside, more of a feature. Nowadays, it’s either a water heater or gas... it's a matter of choice. Upon first startup or when the system gets airlocked, it can't push out the air on its own, so you need to find what to press to get it to burp. ![]() |
I needed to make autonomous heating in my workshop. I chose the option with electric heating, because there is no gas nearby, and it is too troublesome to heat a solid fuel boiler when you only have to work for three or four hours. Yes, electricity is not cheap, but it is ideal for occasional use. I chose Kospel because I am already familiar with this Polish brand. At home there is a gas boiler of this manufacturer and I am completely satisfied with it. The boiler is silent and trouble-free, practically maintenance-free. Neither you clean the chimney and ash pan as in solid fuel boilers, nor the headache with gas pressure that torments the owners of gas boilers. Convenient weekly programmer. Since I know when I will come to work tomorrow, I simply set the programmer to start an hour before my arrival and go into a warm room. The boiler is equipped with a six-stage power regulator, which allows you to save energy. The regulation is implemented on modern semiconductors, works reliably and efficiently. Frost protection prevents the temperature in the workshop from dropping too low and protects the heating circuit from defrosting. Since the boiler is electric, I didn’t have to mess with installing a chimney. Cracks while working. It looks like thermal expansion. It was a little annoying at first, but over time I got used to it. For gentle automation, you need a voltage stabilizer; without it, it can spontaneously turn off. use Kospel EKCO.L2 8 month or more |
one gets the impression that the three reviews written below are custom-made with an emphasis on the purchase of a voltage stabilizer. Tell me, dear, how much does a 3-phase voltage regulator cost for 12 kW, I’m sure that it’s twice as expensive as a sam boiler parameters declared by the manufacturer not bought yet |
The model range of Polish electric boilers Kospel EKCO.L2 consists of many representatives with a capacity of 4 to 32 kW. The area of the heated room depends, in particular, on the useful power figure. So, in the case of the Kospel EKCO.L2 8 boiler, we are talking about a small house or apartment with an area of about 60-70 m².
Control Panel
The model can be used both as a key element for building a heating system, and for working together with indirect heating boilers. The result of such a symbiosis is the creation of a hot water supply system in the dwelling. Adjustment of the heat carrier temperature (in the range from 20 to 85°C) is carried out by changing the parameters on the built-in control panel, which is also equipped with a weekly programmer for the operation of the device.
power usage
The boiler consumes electricity prudently and wisely, in which it is assisted by a 6-stage automatic power control system that changes the operating mode of the device depending on temperature fluctuations in the room. Another advantage of Kospel EKCO.L2 8 is the ability to connect to single-phase (230 V) and three-phase (400 V) power networks.
Reliability
A closed heating system must be equipped with an expansion tank, which will protect it from excessive pressure growth due to an increase in the total volume of the heated liquid. So such a tank is not provided in the boiler delivery set. The model has no other significant disadvantages, therefore, against the background of its high reliability, as well as ease of installation and maintenance, Kospel EKCO.L2 8 can be recommended for purchase in any type of premises of the appropriate area.
Good to know. Electric type boilers are the most environmentally friendly, since their principle of operation excludes the emission of combustion products.
