15 years in service
8 January 2021
The "Kolibri K-240" boat 15 years later is still in working condition. It was purchased in 2004. Over this time, it has shown itself well on fishing trips. I used it in both fresh and saltwater, in cold and warm seasons. The main advantage of boats of such length is that registration and other formal expenses are not mandatory. The boat is very light and sturdy, the only downside of the PVC material is its vulnerability to punctures from fish fins and exposure to open flames. The old model thole pins are somewhat inconvenient in operation; they need more frequent lubrication and the movable bronze part wears out faster. The Kolibri K-240 boat 15 years later can still provide an enjoyable fishing experience. Here is a video review I made https://youtu.be/USogrLFQcDk
