Immersion or countertop blenders – what is the difference and which is better? For which tasks is it better to buy a countertop blender, and for which — an immersion one?

How to choose a mixerThe main parameters that will help you choose a mixer for your tasks
was an English assembly. purchased on February 26, 2007. The motor unit died on January 3, 2017. Used it several times a day, but only with the chopper. During this time, the rubber seal that goes into the motor unit wore out by 75%. It purees everything to a smooth consistency excellently. used it several times a day, but only the chopper. During this time, the rubber part that goes into the motor block has actually worn out by 75%. It crushes everything to a puree-like consistency, all to a uniform consistency, perfectly. Overall, I am very satisfied with it! the measuring cup cracked quickly after 3 years of use and started leaking. The rubber swelled. As for the blades, they turned out to be very poorly designed during operation; when chopping, the food rises to the top, so there should be three blades placed at the bottom, in the center, and at the top, otherwise, the chopped food at the bottom stops the blade, and you have to open or shake the jar to make the food fall down every 5 seconds during operation. Because of this, the apex of the mount that contacts with the rotating mechanism wore out quickly and became unusable in a couple of months. The whisk doesn't have enough power to beat egg whites for meringue. The motor unit is beyond repair. The model is old and discontinued. Therefore, you need to buy a new blender. Purchasing separately, if you're lucky to find them, is not cost-effective as it costs as much as a new blender with attachments, but now everything is assembled in China. I hope that by finding and buying a new motor unit and chopper, they will last me just as long. It's unfortunate that they are not sold separately but only as part of a set with other attachments. use Kenwood Wizzard Pro HB 665 more than year |
I won't get this one again, I'll find one with a more sensitive button. Regular blender, nothing particularly remarkable. Served well for almost 2 years. Nice design, rubber knobs and handle prevent it from slipping out of hands. 1. You have to hold the button very tightly, and your finger gets tired. You could, of course, use both hands, but then the cup bounces, and who can hold it? 2. Towards the end of its life, on the container where the big knife is, a cut edge started to form on the inside, as if the knife was softly cutting it constantly. I started to worry about it cutting through the bottom of this container, but we didn't live to see it... 3. After a year and 10 months, the motor broke down. One day I took it, and it was giving 2-3 rotations per second and then stalling. And this is considering that it had never encountered anything harder than a carrot in its life. ![]() |
