Good day Bought this kettle 2 years ago. The kettle was used carefully and carefully. The kettle began to leak (a large number of water drops form from below (outside) at the bottom of the kettle). Also, the casing (aluminum coating of the kettle) came off in the lower part of the kettle. When buying a kettle for such money, one expected reliability and durability. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!! Quiet in botiro Flow use Kenwood Persona SJM 610 more than year |
70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95 and 100. For those who don't want to bother - turn it on and get what you ordered. If you need temperatures below 70 degrees - then there's a problem. I solved it by using a base from a leaking and thrown out ZELMER CK 1004 kettle - showing the water temperature during boiling and full control. Beautiful. Stylish. Looks well made. Performs its functions. Compatible with the base from the ZELMER CK 1004 kettle. The main drawback is that the beautiful display does NOT show the water temperature during the heating process. The base is programmed only to display the preset temperature. The second drawback is that the minimum heating temperature is 70 degrees C. The third drawback (not obvious and not for everyone) is a very quiet sound signal. use Kenwood Persona SJM 610 week |
Successful British brand Kenwood has been producing small household appliances for 70 years. It conquers not only with its quality and functions, but also with its original appearance. The Kenwood SJM 610 kettle is no exception, made in a matte silver colour.
Quiet and functional
An important feature of the kettle is quiet operation, which is confirmed by the mark of the international Quiet Mark programme. Both the moderate power of the appliance (2200 W) and the design of the flask itself, made of solid metal, contribute to acoustic comfort in the kitchen. A 1.7-liter model filled to the max mark boils quickly enough: a little longer than 5 minutes.
In addition to boiling, Kenwood SJM 610 allows you to heat water to the desired temperature in the range from 70 to 95 degrees in steps of 5 points. This will allow you to properly brew any hot drinks, including coffee and various types of tea: herbal, black, green, white.
When selecting heating, you can immediately set the keep warm mode to "Keep warm". It will automatically turn on for 30 minutes after bringing the water to the desired temperature. You can also activate "Keep warm" even after heating to 70 – 95 degrees (for 100 degrees, this function is not available to prevent boiling over).
All control buttons and the display, which displays the temperature of the selected mode, are placed on the stand.
Stylish and practical
Kettle Kenwood SJM 610 is made in a modern minimalist design. The matte finish of the metal case eliminates fingerprints and makes dirt less noticeable. But the glossy cover and the base of the device are quite easily soiled.
Ease of use is ensured by a rubberized SureGrip handle, a rather informative water level indicator under it, a power cord storage system and a swivel base. The lid tilts less than 90 degrees, which will prevent the owners of large hands from getting close to the inside of the flask for cleaning: this can be considered a drawback.
In general, Kenwood SJM 610 is a beautiful, functional and reliable kettle. There are analogues on the market that are cheaper, for example, Tefal KI 400D. But if you are willing to pay extra for silence in the kitchen and an original, practical design, then the model from the British brand looks like a more preferable solution.
