The ice cream maker caught our attention because friends gave it good reviews, and the price was quite affordable. We decided to try it since the kids wanted their own ice cream, and I also wanted to try making it. Without an ice cream maker, it turned out like sorbet; I realized that continuous stirring was necessary for something good to come out. Now we experiment with different recipes; we like the basic cream and strawberry ones the most, and luckily, there are plenty of recipes, including those using inexpensive ingredients and even diet ones without cream and sugar. It works quite quickly, and assembling it takes literally half a minute. The ingredient opening is small, but there are really no issues using it. The ice cream isn't like the ones in store-bought packs; it's softer, but we like it that way, so we eat it daily, especially when it's hot. If you want ice cream, the bowl needs to be pre-chilled, meaning if you forget to put it in the freezer, for example, overnight, then there will be no ice cream. This happened to me a couple of times when the kids asked for ice cream, so now I always keep the bowl in the freezer during the summer. This solves the ice cream problem, meaning it's always ready, but half of the freezer drawer is always occupied. Plus, the bowl barely fits in the freezer; I guess I got lucky and didn't even measure it, a centimeter less and the drawer wouldn't pull out. use Kenwood IM250 month or more i recommend it should buy |
