I bought this device as an assistant in cleaning the house. I chose between a manual model and a floor model, as a result I settled on this one, and did not regret it. 1. Very comfortable to use. Small, compact, very easy to hold in hand. At the same time, the tank is quite roomy, one filling is enough for cleaning 7-10 square meters. 2. Perfectly removes dirt, soap scum, odors... In short, it is truly an indispensable helper for every housekeeper. I use it for cleaning grout between tiles every time I clean the bathroom - handles it brilliantly. Cleaning time has significantly decreased. And if you steam the carpet, it starts to smell and look like new! 3. Despite its small size, the power is very good! The steam pressure is sufficient to steam away any dirt. 1. The kit really lacks a floor nozzle. However, it can be purchased separately. 2. The long nozzle-hose does not have a steam button. This might be difficult to implement from an engineering standpoint, but the absence of a button is noticeable when working with this nozzle. 3. We have mold in our bathroom. Where this infection came from is completely incomprehensible, but it sprouted through silicone putty, appeared on the seams of the tiles, and it was terribly unpleasant. The first thing we tried was chemicals. But, despite the assurances, after the processing of the manufacturers, the mold did not disappear anywhere. She hid for a while and began to appear again. What to do was completely unclear. This steam cleaner was the last line of defense and it really worked. The main merit of this steam cleaner is that it saved us from the invasion of vile and nasty black mold. I can’t say that this is a complete victory, but he managed to drive this rubbish into a deep underground from where it only occasionally crawls out. The device is small in size, light and extremely convenient for such work as the processing of tile and plumbing joints. There is not much water in it, less than a glass, but it gives out noble steam, its pressure reaches three atmospheres, and by home standards this is very, very decent. High electrical power provides fast heating. From a cold state to a vigorous soaring, a little more than three minutes pass. Like any pressure device, it has a safety valve and, like any electric heater, it is equipped with overheating protection. We use it in the bathroom, toilet, kitchen and even took it to the country. A quality handheld steam cleaner at a more than reasonable price. It's great because it "warms up" literally in a couple of minutes and effectively cleans small dirt. It is perfect for cleaning small surfaces, like faucets or grout lines between tiles. I bought it specifically for cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, but gradually it started migrating into the rooms: now I use it to clean my child's plastic toys, window sills, and small things like door and window handles. It handles all dirt easily and quickly, a big plus is that you don't need to sprinkle all sorts of chemicals on the dirty surface (because there's a child in the house). The device itself is small, easy to store; I keep it under the sink in the kitchen, very convenient. The premium version of the popular Karcher SC 1 steam cleaner stands out from the original with a white body colour instead of a yellow corporate colour and the presence of a metre-long extension hose . With this accessory, the capabilities of the device soar to new heights.
Liquid fuel
Neither greasy stains, nor accumulations of dirt in hard-to-reach places, nor plaque on plumbing will resist the device. And most importantly, no chemicals are needed in the struggle for the cleanliness of all surfaces — Karcher SC 1 Premium uses ordinary water as fuel. Its preparation time is about 3 minutes. Subsequently, steam under pressure up to 3 bar finds its way out through the spout of the device, on which one of the nozzles clings (point nozzle, angled and fabric nozzles or a round brush).
Design features
With the usual button for supplying steam, keys with pictograms of closed and open locks coexist on the handle of the device. They perform the role of child protection, being responsible for blocking and unlocking pressing the main button. On top of the model, there is a filler neck “under cover” of a huge cork that leads to a tank with a capacity of 200 mL. Do not open the lid until excess pressure is released.
Without chemicals
Karcher SC 1 Premium is applicable not only in everyday life, but also, for example, to maintain cleanliness in the car interior. The device only needs power from a 230 V and periodic replenishment of water reserves in the tank. With this model, you can completely forget about the monotonous friction with a sponge in an attempt to clean off stubborn dirt and about buying household chemicals for home use.
