JBL PartyBoost is a technology for pairing two JBL speakers to achieve a stereo effect. All-round sound. Synchronization of music and lighting effects.
Released in 2019, the speaker system represents the “pulsating” line of the American brand JBL and is the direct successor to the third generation model — Pulse 3. As expected, this portable speaker is notable for its original appearance. Special LED-panels, located along the entire front surface of the case, create original lighting effects in time with musical compositions, a la light music.
Waterproof (IPX7 class) portable acoustics JBL Pulse 4 is equipped with a single 20-watt speaker, providing moderately powerful and very balanced mono sound. Another interesting feature of the model is support for the PartyBoost mode. It allows you to connect other speakers that support this technology to the same audio source, thereby achieving a stereo effect and/or obtaining a suitable audio system for a party. The built-in 7260 mAh battery can provide up to 12 hours of battery life. Note that the model weighs more than 1 kg (1260 grams) and is “sharpened” only for wireless use, since a 3.5 mm mini-jack is not provided here.

Adequate price. Technically, I like it more than the Pulse 3. The battery is new, nice design, eye-catching. Great sound, powerful battery, visually luxurious. A wonderful thing, I do not part with it now. Using PartyBoost technology, I tried to connect it with Boombox-2 - this is the thing) It seems that Boxing pulls the bass over, and Pulse takes over the treble function. I twisted different compositions - in some I heard out of sync. The JBL Connect app is not necessary for this device, as the lighting schemes can also be switched on the device itself. But, if you are going to create your own, then it will not work without it. Plus, as I understand it, it should be used to update the firmware. Don't expect to use this unit outdoors and don't expect it to sound great with deep bass. Too heavy to carry anywhere. The power connector is open, there are fingerprints on the plastic, the material is not the best. Not more. |
