Interesting design and not very interesting sound
23 February 2018
The earphones look good and sit quite firmly in the ears. The design at first glance seems uncomplicated, but if you put other models side by side, you understand that a lot of design work has been done here. They sit in the ear easily, you can choose the appropriate ear cushions from the standard kit, which includes three different sizes. They hold tight, though not perfect. Sometimes they fall out, not without it, but this does not happen often and usually the reason for this is not quite the right fit. They have a durable cable in a high-quality fabric braid. It is equipped with a simple one-button remote control with a microphone. This simple device allows you to receive calls without touching the smartphone hidden under outerwear. The cable loses a little in elasticity in the cold, but does not tan. Its most valuable quality is that it almost does not get confused. It ends with an unusually shaped plug, not straight or angled, but with a 45-degree inclination, i.e. a compromise. The sound of the headphones is loud and bassy, a small internal resistance affects.
JBL is a well-known manufacturer, and when buying its portable acoustics, you count not only on a beautiful external and reliable engineering design, but also on high-quality sound. But, not in this case. Now even first-tier brands spit on the acoustic comfort of the user from above. Why bother with engineering problems if this money can be stupidly dumped into marketing. So it turns out a big name, such a strong price tag and disgusting high frequencies that pour frank sand into the ears. I listened to them on various sources and gave it to a couple of friends to rate. In all cases and according to all estimates, the sound resembles inexpensive vacuum liners for 250-350 hryvnias. But these headphones are sold for 1000 and I have only obscene explanations for such a brazen pricing policy.
