Model overview based on user reviews
The Intex 64760 inflatable mattress is a budget-friendly option designed for single-person use, measuring 191x76x25 cm. It features a flocked coating for added comfort and a built-in pump, although users have found the pump to be ineffective and cumbersome, often causing the mattress to slide during inflation. The material is not very durable, with reports of punctures occurring easily, especially in outdoor settings. Additionally, the absence of a repair kit is a notable drawback. While it may suffice for a single trip due to its low price, it is not recommended for frequent use or as a reliable option for sleeping, as users have experienced waking up on the floor due to air leaks. Overall, the mattress is considered more of a temporary solution rather than a long-term investment.
Pros
Cons
The mattress was purchased for non-designated use (at the sea). Not wanting to carry an additional pump, I opted for a mattress with a built-in pump, thinking it would save space and be more convenient. However, this proved to be a mistake in outdoor conditions. While inflating, you have to press with your foot, causing the mattress to slide around on the ground. The more you inflate it, the more it "flies" during inflation. Eventually, it's bound to find some sharp dried grass or a rock, resulting in a puncture (the material isn't strong enough). Unfortunately, there's nothing to patch it with, as a simple repair kit, which costs next to nothing, isn't included. Additionally, the built-in pump adds unnecessary weight and volume to the mattress. It takes at least 10 minutes to inflate, whereas with a regular foot pump, it can be done in a "minute." Nevertheless, for a single trip to the sea, it's acceptable for its price. But it's better not to rely on the built-in pump. Also, it should definitely not be used in the water. Otherwise, it sags and loses shape. Price Useless pump, not durable, no repair kit |
It's better to sleep on the floor and not waste money, time, and nerves on such "comfort." no Holes appear every night of use, so you wake up on the floor. |
