Used as a backup power source for a pharmacy (13 hours a day with one stop for refueling). Purchased and chosen before me. Average load - 2 kW (lighting + 4 refrigerators). Each time the refrigerators started, the generator struggled (as surges reached 20-25 A = 4-5 kW when measured with clamp meters), but it somehow managed to handle them. The fuel consumption in this case was 1.3-1.4 liters per hour. For refueling, besides a 20-liter canister, it is advisable to buy a tall funnel (30 cm). 1. Simple starting scheme (fuel tap - choke - "pull starter"). 2. Withstands surges when starting refrigerators, turning off kettles, and operating microwaves. 3. Automatic throttle (maintains RPM by itself). 4. Oil is filled separately (no need to mix with gasoline - convenient). 1. Does not fit in the trunk of the latest generation Nissan Almera (only in the cabin), but in a Renault Logan - it should. 2. You can say there are no idle revolutions (to preserve the engine - warm up at the start and let cool down at the end), immediately high revolutions; the existing damper is only for easier starting. Although, I don't know if this function is available in other generators. 3. Was concerned about the high vibration (though I don't know how it is with other generators, maybe it's normal). All the positive reviews about this generator, in my opinion, are greatly EXAGGERATED!!! And I, by the way, believed them!!! But in vain! From the declared power in the specs of 3 kW, you should take away 1 kW. When I turn on an iron of 2.4 kW, everything else, even the little things, need to be turned off!!! Because it starts jumping like a "frog" and working as if it's choking. It doesn't start the circular saw, even though it's 1.7 kW! Again, it lacks power! Overall, I'm personally DISAPPOINTED with this purchase. Works quietly. The power indicated on the passport DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO REALITY. use Huter DY4000L few months |
