Huawei Nova 9 128 GB (51096UDB)

A handsome mid-range smartphone with decent hardware and a juicy 6.57-inch diagonal screen. The OLED panel of the device is distinguished by curved sides and a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A 32 MP front-facing lens was hoisted in the centre of the upper part of the display, and a fast fingerprint scanner was located in the under-screen layer of the smartphone to identify the owner by a fingerprint pattern.
The smartphone is powered by a performant “iron” combination of components as part of an eight-core Snapdragon 778 processor without a 5G modem, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory without the possibility of expanding the space in the internal storage. "At the helm" of the Huawei Nova 9 128GB software platform is the proprietary Harmony OS system. The focus of the smartphone's main camera is a large 50 MP RYYB image sensor lens. Auxiliary image sensors 8 + 2 + 2 MP (ultra-wide, macro camera and depth of field sensor) are provided to help him. The electronic components of the mobile device are powered by a 4300 mAh rechargeable battery with fast charging (up to 100% in about 38 minutes). The model was armed with an NFC, high-speed Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v 5.2 wireless adapters.

What I liked most is that when the screen rotates, the text automatically enlarges. As someone with poor eyesight, that's something I really need. The response to movements and touches is just right. I also liked the interface – the main screen has many large folders and it's all very easy to comprehend. I got used to the new phone very quickly... good smartphone have not yet discovered |
I cannot agree with some points in the reviews. I like the phone both in terms of build quality and performance. Comparing it with my colleagues' phones with iOS and Androids, there are of course some "shortcomings", but the phones are in a slightly different category. The main thing is that applications need some "tweaking" for this OS. Many apps are still rough, but it's not fatal. If you use the phone as a workhorse (in my opinion), it's up to the mark. Screen elongation – text enlarges when rotated. This is important for me (my vision is declining). The response to touches and movements is worthy. The clarity and adequacy of the interface are also pleasing. I liked the enlarged active folders on the home screen. The screen curve provides a softer perception. You quickly get used to the gesture system and soon forget the lack of buttons (especially appreciated by the better half of humanity). Unfortunately, there is a lot of embedded Chinese software that interferes until you customize it for yourself. ![]() |
A smartphone with a wow effect, really very positive emotions from using this device, but there are nuances! For those who don't find Google services most important, the device can be easily used! Gorgeous screen, overall body, and display create a very pleasant impression! Excellent processor, great package with a powerful charger! Very successful Snapdragon 778 processor, clean and well-optimized system! The system has its own security advantages! Almost no PWM on the screen! The camera is very good, both main and front! Important for photos taken during the day! The downsides of the screen are the rounded edges, which make it difficult to hit the edge buttons when playing a game! The frame is plastic and the back is glass, there is no 3.5 jack, no memory card support, no Google services, which causes some apps and NFC not to work, overall it's hard to call it a functional phone. Photos taken at night are so-so, and video is not that great either! ![]() |
