Our print volumes are rather big, about 3-4 thousand sheets per month, and there is a specificity in that the printer must be network-connected. Copying when working with documents is also an extremely useful thing, so we decided not to save money and take a full-fledged MFP. From my own experience I know that it is very important not to run into savings here, because now everything is simple with office equipment - if you save on a printer-copier-MFP today, it means you overpaid twice for consumables tomorrow. This model seemed to be specially created for the conditions of our group. It connects as a network, via an Ethernet cable. But in case of any problems with the network infrastructure, you can quickly switch to a local computer or laptop via USB. It prints quickly and efficiently, HP laser devices have never had any problems with this. 28 pages per minute is an excellent indicator, especially for a device that itself costs less than $300. It is also one of the most affordable models with automatic two-sided printing. Those who have worked with layout and brochures will appreciate this feature. The scanner is not simple, but with an additional mechanism for auto-feeding originals. This really solves and saves a lot of time if you need to copy or scan a multi-page document. The copy speed is almost as fast as the print speed. The machine is equipped with a 250-sheet standard capacity paper feeder. The output is not so bulky (150 sheets), but it is usually enough. It has a convenient push-button control panel with a monochrome information screen. There is a proprietary one year warranty. Scans documents on one side only. It's a pity, because thanks to duplex printing, two-sided documents could be quickly copied. I don’t even know if it makes sense to complain not about the prices of original HP consumables, most likely you are already aware of it)) The kit includes only a reduced capacity cartridge (1600 pages), to buy a full-fledged cartridge with a resource of 3500 pages, you need to spend another 2900 UAH. |
