Great headphones! They served faithfully for about 3 years, the last six months the rubber casing began to burst at the bends and joints (but everything worked). Withstood rain and snow. The sound is good, the microphone is 3.5-4 out of 5. Minus - I lost the ear pads 50 times, often found them, but if you want to buy a spare tire, you won’t find the originals on sale, and the non-original ones fit and sound worse. -Unbreakable -Good sound -Comfortable -Capacious battery -Fast charging -Poor quality microphone -Original ear pads for replacement are not available for sale use Honor Sport more than year |
I bought it from DNS, 2 years ago. The equipment works stably, does not wheeze or whistle. The sound in my subjective opinion is clean. Headphones are suitable for any genre of music. Decide for yourself whether to buy or not) Pleasant sound, if you connect it to a laptop, then it’s generally top quality. The battery holds a charge for quite a long time. They fit tightly in the ears, do not fall out, do not rub (again, speaking for myself). The only downside is that you need a separate case or cloth bag for the headphones (this is probably not a disadvantage, but an advice if anyone decides to take it). |
They came as a gift with the Honor 20, along with the Honor Band 5. In this regard, it's an excellent acquisition. I gave the Band to my wife, and I've been actively using the earphones for a year. The battery lasts a week, but I never turn the volume all the way up. But that's 5 days of hour to hour and a half commutes each way. They hang around my neck — don't bother anyone, don't go missing or get forgotten. Overall, it's a convenient idea. The buttons are intuitive and well-placed. The build quality doesn't raise any complaints: everything is well-fitted, and the charging port closes tightly. Over a year of use, the stickers and films, which aren't recommended to be removed, have come off, and the [censored] on the magnets started to wear off a bit. If you just need earphones via Bluetooth, they work fine; I've figured out how they work and have gotten used to the quirks over the year so they don't cause much irritation. When you get an incoming call, I recommend immediately turning off Bluetooth and talking on the handset. Comes with pre-installed earbuds - 4 sizes of "plugs", finding the right size is not a problem. Also included is a decent case - thanks to the mesh on the lid - it allows you to store the cable and headphones in one place: nothing gets tangled. The case does not look cheap. However, it is not currently used: at home, the headphones lie on the shelf, when leaving the house they hang around the neck all day. Decent sound and passive noise isolation. The attachment method in the ear seems reliable, I don’t recall anything ever falling out. Overall a convenient indicator, intuitively understandable response. Charge indicator integrated into the phone’s status. I suspect, only in the case of Honor-Huawei smartphones. The charging, sound, and build quality of the headphones did not disappoint, but as a headset, for which the headphones position themselves, they are impossible to use. The sound gets lost, the caller cannot hear. Taking the phone out of the pocket does not help. Regarding other nuances: device connection indeed has issues. Almost immediately after purchasing the device, Android 10.1 arrived on the smartphone, and most issues were resolved. However, even now once a week the device stutters when turning on and does not connect immediately. Sometimes an extra 5 seconds solves the problem, and sometimes only turning Bluetooth on and off helps. The indicator, it's convenient in a way that it's there, but why does it blink continuously? Maybe so that others know your headphones are working? It's unclear. use Honor Sport more than year |
Youthful design and thoughtful ergonomics
In addition to cool smartphones, Huawei occasionally also releases good headphones. Honor Sport models definitely have something to attract sports and music lovers, so they could not ignore them. Pleasant modern youth design (this is the domain of the Honor sub-brand), good ergonomics, behind-the-ear fastening for secure fixation during training, waterproof (IP52) from splashes, sweat and light rain, a well-assembled case — everything is done conscientiously and pleases the eye.
Every little thing matters
As a separate point, I would like to praise the attention to the little things that are really important for an athlete. Firstly, instead of the standard 6-7 hours, Honor Sport can last 11 or even 12 hours, depending on the volume. That is, this is a full week of training without recharging. Secondly, convenience: a special arc-process clings to the ear so that the earpiece does not fall out in a centrifuge, the control panel is located on the cable symmetrically with the battery so as not to create an overweight, and magnetic fasteners allow you to connect both “ears” and wear them around your neck not to lose. However the mounts are without sensors, so the music does not pause, as in cool expensive headphones. Well, I liked that the quality of communication does not depend on the distance and being within a radius of 10 metres they work like clockwork.
Headphones are not for music lovers
But in terms of sound, Honor Sport never surprises, and sometimes even disappoints. Yes, they are loud and bassy, but the overall sound quality is frankly average, this is purely an option to drive a playlist for training while you work out near the bag or pull yourself up on the horizontal bar. In fairness, sports headphones have never shined in this regard, but in recent years quite a few models have appeared on the market that destroy this stereotype about sound. I would like Honor Sport to be one of them. To the list of shortcomings, we also add a crookedly sewn rubber plug that prevents the charging cable from being fully inserted. It does not affect the work in any way, but it does not look neat. Well, the constantly on power indicator on the remote is annoying. During the day it is not particularly visible, but if you listen to music in the dark, it hits your eyes great.
