In addition to cooling, I was also interested in thorough air purification, as my daughter has allergies and often suffers from upper respiratory tract illnesses. The Japanese are traditionally strong in air purification and conditioning technologies, and I wanted my home air conditioner to be a branded Japanese one. The price of Mitsubishi and Daikin frankly put me off, but this luxury Hitachi model turned out to be just within my budget. Cools and heats the air in the apartment excellently. There's really nothing to complain about, except that the noise from the indoor unit's fan at high speed was a bit irritating at first, but we learned to manage it manually and tamed the fan. The strong point of this unit is its air purification technologies. The catalytic microcellular filter and UV purification handle dust, allergens, strong odors, and even kill bacteria effectively. In short, it’s become noticeably easier for my daughter to breathe. The price is quite reasonable compared to Mitsubushi and Daikin. It comes with a convenient remote control with a fairly large screen. Made in Malaysia, it's "non-Chinese," and that's already a plus. The maximum length of the refrigerant lines cannot exceed 10 meters, so the installation location had to be moved. It turned out quite well in the end, but you need to pay attention to this when purchasing. The indoor unit makes quite a bit of noise when operating in heating mode. I contacted the service technician, and he reassured me saying that this is normal and there's nothing to worry about. |
