good model, liked it

I am a plumber and use a rotary hammer a lot. The engine of the old one burned out for the second time, and since the gearbox was already worn out there, I decided that it was time to send it to rest. Instead, I took this rather expensive branded instrument. If this price seems too high for you, then this means that you don’t really need such a rotary hammer. Feel free to take inexpensive China and good luck to you))) This is a semi-professional class tool and it can safely endure such loads from which the Chinese will burn the rotor windings twice. In short, this is a perforator which, apparently, will last a long time.
His appearance is deceiving. The dimensions are not large, it can easily be confused with models half as powerful. Weight is also modest, a little less than three kilograms. But inside there is a powerful 850 watt electric motor that can give such heat that the concrete crumble flies like shrapnel. Indeed, his blow is very powerful. Non-load-bearing concrete walls drill and chisel without any effort at all. He also doesn’t experience any problems with load-bearing ones, but it’s not so easy to crumble that concrete anymore. The cartridge is well centered, so with this rotary hammer you can safely make any mounting holes in metal, wood or concrete (more precisely, not any, but up to 13 mm in metal and up to 28 in concrete). For the installation of any plumbing, this is enough with the head. Has good protection of hands from vibration and a reverse. Comfortable handles.
High price. But I think that it is justified by at least two factors. Firstly, high power density and torque, and secondly, show me a much cheaper rotary hammer with effective vibration protection.
great model, love it

I've been using it for 3 years, satisfied. It withstands high loads without problems.
High performance, reasonable price

Light Heavyweight Champion

The Hitachi DH28PCY rotary hammer is a semi-professional grade tool. It is far from the most powerful (850 W), but has a decent impact energy (3.4 J). The motor, gearbox and impact mechanism are highly reliable. According to user reviews, rotary hammers of this model can easily work without breakdowns for two to three years under conditions of fairly intensive use (that is, for several hours daily).

Complete set "nothing more"

By design, the tool is a three-mode rotary hammer with a classic layout (that is, with a horizontal engine). Thanks to this design, the device turned out to be compact and light enough (2.9 kg is a ridiculous weight by the standards of punchers). Therefore, the tool lies comfortably in the palms, and the hands will not fall off after a working day.

A safety clutch and an anti-vibration system are “hidden” inside the case. It reduces vibration levels by about a third (compared to the Hitachi DH24PH model, which is slightly lighter and weaker). The tool is sold complete with a case, a depth gauge and an additional handle that can be set at any angle.

Save or not?

The Hitachi DH28PCY rotary hammer is perfect for those who are "not rich enough to buy cheap things." This is a reliable and durable model that will become your assistant for a long time when performing small volumes of construction and repair work.

Is about $200 for a power tool a lot or a little? On the one hand, there are cheaper models in the model range of Hitachi rotary hammers. But if you pick up quality equipment with an effective anti-vibration system, you will no longer want to return to a cheap tool without this option.
