Model overview based on user reviews
The Hansa BOEW68465 oven offers a modern electric cooking experience with versatile cooking modes, allowing users to prepare a wide range of dishes, from homemade pastries to grilled meats. It features eight cooking modes, including combined heating and convection grill, which users find beneficial for various recipes. The oven is praised for its easy maintenance, with removable door and inner glass for cleaning. However, some users report initial issues with a smelly smoke during the first use and inconsistent sensor performance on the electronic timer. While one user appreciates its balanced features and Polish assembly, another criticizes its uneven cooking quality, citing difficulties with certain dishes like meringue and the constant fan blowing, which cannot be turned off. This user also notes the oven's tendency to get dirty quickly and expresses disappointment in its overall performance, suggesting it may not meet expectations for even heating.
Pros
Cons
My wife and I needed a built-in oven with a light front panel. Well, WE said it very loudly, this question was more interesting to my wife, but since delicious homemade cakes loomed on the horizon in the form of an obvious bonus, I took the issue seriously)) This is an oven with average indicators, there is nothing unusual in it and in At the same time, we can say that it is well balanced in terms of features and price. Well, the fact that these ovens are assembled in Poland also added optimism. I never thought that modern electric ovens are so versatile. In addition to delicious homemade pastries, she bakes meat, fish, various vegetables in it, and last Sunday she cooked homemade sausages on the grill. This is just a break in consciousness, I have never eaten anything tastier in my life. I didn’t seem to notice such gastronomophilia before myself))) Such a variety of dishes became possible due to the large number of cooking modes that this model has. There are eight among them, you can choose the most suitable for any product or dish. For baking, the combined heating of the upper and lower heating elements is good, for pizza - the lower heating and a bit of grill at the end, for meat, the convection grill comes in perfectly, it remains only to manually turn it over and perfectly baked meat will be ready. My wife says that it is also easy to maintain. I read the instructions and taught her how to remove the door and the inner glass. This makes washing it much easier. The first inclusion gave a smelly smoke, I even got a little scared. But, apparently, it was something extraneous burned out on the heating elements, there was no more of this stench. The sensor on the electronic timer does not always work clearly, often you have to poke once or even twice. |
Modern look Quality of cooking. The worst of the five electric ovens I've ever used. We've been using it for half a year and still can't get used to it, although with other ovens I didn't even have to read the instructions - everything was simple and clear, everything came out fine, both baked goods and meat. With this one, it either burns or doesn't cook through. It gets very dirty and needs to be cleaned after each use. My favorite Italian Ariston from 1998 I washed at most 5 times in 15 years, but this one I've already had to clean 5 times in six months! Meringue (a dessert made from whipped egg whites) hasn't come out even once; it browns even at the lowest temperature and stays raw for a long time. I suspect everything is due to the presence of "natural convection" - it's the fan blowing. You can't turn off this function, so it blows constantly. In Ariston, Indesit, and Gorenje, everything cooked perfectly without blowing, and in Miele, the fan would only turn on after the heating was turned off, for faster cooling. And everything worked perfectly. Moreover, it was an unpleasant surprise for me that in an electric oven, which you buy expecting even heating, one side will brown more! This is nonsense. In general, I don’t even recommend considering this option; it’s just a complete disappointment. use Hansa BOEW68465 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
